The Trafficlyser is a family of independent software-only tools installed on a PC. The basic package TraceView offers pasive monitoring of several hundreds VoIP calls (SIP, Megaco, H.323, Skinny), extensive filtering and data recording along with signaling ladder diagram, call quality evaluation through MOS and R-Factor score, alarms generation and others.

The Trafficlyser product range includes the TraceSIM which emulates an end device enabling the user to generate or receive up to 300 SIP/H.323 calls in parallel with optional PESQ calculation. When performing a long-term passive VoIP flows monitoring is needed, users might choose the RTP Monitor option. Combining all the above mentioned tools together, the network engineer is provided with the necessary insight at all times into what is going on the company's VoIP network with the ability to study long term history reports, display relevant statistics, signalling and decode of interesting streams and also generate a considerable bulk ofVoIP calls with quality metrics measurements. In order to automate measurements, eg. in cases the user needs to perform regular quality or performance checks, a test scheduler can be configured complemented with an automatic report generation.
