Further product information.

The Network Consultant is an ideal tool for presenting an overview of a complete UMTS and GPRS cellular network, including Iub, Iur, Iu-CS, Iu-PS, Gb, Gn, Gi, Gp, Gr, Gs, Gc, Gd, Gf, C, D, E, F, G, H interfaces, the GSM A interface and CDMA2000 A10-A11, A12 and Pi (Internet) interfaces. Based on RADCOM’s various UMTS, GPRS and CDMA2000 Consultants the Network Consultant correlates information detected in the different UMTS, GPRS and CDMA2000 networks in one view, and provides an end-to-end radio access, Core Signaling, Core IP session and service level overview along with the ability to further drill-down into each interface. The Network Consultant manages voice and data together, monitoring the QoS on the data paths and correlating between the signaling control path and the delivered data path events. Using the Network Consultant, vendors and operators can perform testing of specific cellular components or DUT (device under test) as well as perform full system testing of the whole cellular network. Cellular vendors and operators can also view and analyze the promised and provided QoS end-to-end, together with the other cellular essential procedures such as attached/detached/PDP context as well as, handover analysis, roaming analysis, statistics, network errors and abnormalities throughout the whole IP session, voice call or video end-to-end. The Network Consultant can be run both online and offline.

RADCOM introduces a unique solution for 3G networks which provides the user with complete visibility of UMTS network, including all interfaces (Iu, Iub). It gives the ability to see what is happening over the whole network at any specific point in time and also what events had happened in the past.

The Streaming Mode of Network Consultant represents a solution supporting long-term processing of data with a network overview of several interfaces simultaneously.

The Streaming Mode of Network Consultant functionality is based on a mechanism that sends files from a number of interfaces to a server using FTP and then processes the files on the Network Consultant. It enables the generation of CDRs for viewing with a special Network Consultant Viewer application. The above combination enables the client to collect data from a number of points and to see them all in one view. RADCOM's solution provides a network view over a long period of time, almost always online.

Network Consultant

Using this solution the Network Consultant is able to process a far greater amount of data than it would have been able to otherwise. Each Consultant running on a Performer serves as a probe, collecting data, while the Network Consultant is a dedicated Storage and Processing server. Stored data can be used for statistics generation and content viewing (video playback).

Moreover the Streaming Mode of Network Consultant is an ideal tool for troubleshooting problems in any part of the network and maintaining network integrity.
